Inspection and Grading Protocols
From the extraction and selection of our timber logs to our premier finished hardwood
lumber products, our kiln-dried hardwood lumber is carefully inspected, sorted and
processed for consistent quality, grade and colour by our dedicated team of skilled,
licensed and certified professionals using the latest technology and equipment available
at our facilities.
Kiln Drying
Hardwood lumber produced from our partner sawmills is processed through one of our
10 high-efficiency kiln-drying operations, to ensure the timber dries uniformly
for optimal grade and moisture content levels specific to each hardwood species.
Inventory
With over 2 million bft of kiln-dried hardwood available at our storage facility,
we carry an expansive inventory of North American hardwood species in standard and
custom grades, widths and thicknesses.
Exporting and Distribution (North American and international markets)
As a leading hardwood exporter, our team has been shipping domestically and internationally
for over four decades. DZD values the longstanding relationships it has built and
